The difference is clear!

By Posted on 3 No tags 0

I saw this and I had to talk about it!
Isaiah 5:20-21
“Woe unto them that call evil good,
and good evil; that put darkness for
light, and light for darkness; that put
bitter for sweet, and sweet for
bitter! Woe unto them that are wise
in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”

Some years ago in a part of Africa, the manufacturers of 7up made their bottles bigger than any other and their advertising slogan was: The Difference Is Clear! Today, the difference is no longer clear as other manufacturers of sodas/ soft drinks have come up with equal and even bigger sized bottles. Our society today can be equaled to those in Isaiah 5:20-21 who called evil, good and good, evil. Today we try to package sin and evil deeds as human weaknesses and justify the wicked for deeds that should be condemned. However, the motivation for us to live righteous today is life eternal.
If we desire to live then we should strive for living aright. Proverbs 11 tells us the benefits we stand to gain, for righteousness sake! If we desire to be the objects of God’s pleasure and delight, we should live right. If we desire to enjoy true freedom, then we should choose righteousness!

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled!”.
Our generation is Perverse and sinful! But we must not mold our selves to the world’s standard instead we are called to mold the world into the heavenly standard. Heaven abhors Unrighteousness but it is embraced on earth! So will you rather gain the whole world and loose your soul???
Thank you again!
God bless you for taking time to read my quite lengthy and probably boring write-up! 🙂
