Have you given up on us?
Have thine eyes grown weary from watching us?
You promised to hide us from brutality,
Our hopeless souls have we hung on thee,
The storm of life is heavy, please hide us still!
Leave us, you must not!!!
Our eyes are weak from the ocean of tears shed,
Our hearts ache as though an old Lady’s back, for the reason of grief everlasting
Haven’t our cries been heard by your ever listening ears?
Hasn’t the constant wailing awaken you from thy sleep so sweet?
Worries for breakfast, terror at night
With nothing but agony and despair at noon,
Yet you watch your children, the royals of the land be enslaved and tortured, served as meals to the devourers
At the mercy of our predators you have left us,
But even at this we refuse to break
Receive our soul atlast,
Safe into earth’s guide.
