Because I’m an Awesome Treasure!

By Posted on 2 No tags 0

Unusual for me to post twice in one day yes? I know! But Shade’s excitement when she heard I’d be at the kids summer school this year motivated me to post up something.

I haven’t been available for the camp every time she asks(I’m usually just there for closing parties) and so she was beyond excited to hear I’m available this time. Also because she explained that this year there aren’t a handful of volunteers and she suggested that I invite as many people as I can for this purpose.

If you’re thinking of volunteering please do ASAP cause time is running out! We have two volunteer workshops for the remaining  two Saturdays in this month. Both by 1-3pm. Can you still turn up even if you haven’t signed up? Yes please! And you’d be signed up there. But after the two workshops, chances of you being allowed are slim because the workshop is aimed at equipping the volunteers with the basic teaching tools, aid or techniques needed during the exercise. So you can apply what you’ve gotten from the workshop and be good models for the kids. If you didn’t read my post about the Awesome Treasures Foundation all these may sound strange to you so please read it here

[…] Make a new friend per month: I run away from meeting new people because I’m not sure what I want to say to them and because I know I’m terrible at maintaining relationships but I was willing to try and I did it. Well not 1 per month but I made new friends and I love all my new friends especially the Awesome Treasures team. […]
