I dreaded the thought of 9am today because that meant it was time for my daily squats. This is something else on my goals for the last quarter of the year. And oh boy! It’s been tough stuff.
I started my squats on Saturday. It’s a 30 days challenge. And how do I make sure I’m doing it consistently? I have an app for it. I think apps work for everything honestly. I bought the app for $2 but that’s just cause I chose to buy. There are lots and lots of free ones. (I bought so that when I’m tempted to ignore the app the money I’ve spent motivates me)
How does my app work?
It reminds me at exactly 9am everyday that it’s time for my squats. The first day started with 30 squats, then 60, 75 then back to 60….
It’s day 5 today, when the reminder popped up I almost cried because my thighs are sore. I’m a first timer and it’s tough. I kept on snoozing it till an hour later when I finally reluctantly opened it to see what the challenge was for today and guess what???
Now was this God or what??
My excitement is what led to this post honestly. I was never going to put up my squat challenge.
Why am I squatting? If you want my honest reply, I honestly don’t have a reason. I’m just joining gang.
But if you want a fake reply then oh I’d give you what google gave me when I searched “importance of squats” then I’d say because squats provide whole body fitness.
Unlike popular beliefs that says that squats are to increase your ass, Google didn’t give me that o. And I’ve never even believed it.
So it’s like jogging and thread milling, squatting is just a regular fitness routine.
Are you squatting too?
Have you noticed any importance?
Did it increase your ass? Tell me. So we can join efforts to sue google for omission.
I would be posting up my entire quarterly goals latest Next Week.
Thank you fine one for always reading.
