It’s a week to Christmas! 🎄
I’m particularly excited because it’s my favorite holiday and I’m going to be spending it seeing people that I haven’t seen in a really long while!
I’ll be spending my Christmas in Abuja for the first time. Away from Lagos and the traffic. From there I’m moving between Kaduna/Jos. So if you’re in any of these places this season, let’s link up!
I’m particularly excited because I feel like I’m also going to be meeting alot of new people. It’s not my best thing in the world to do, but I’m looking forward to it!
I’m treating one lucky person to a fancy lunch or drinks on my visit to one of these cities(most likely Abuja since I’m least familiar with it) so please, let’s connect. You might get lucky!
I have alot of things I want this Christmas, but I’ve streamlined my list down to my top 8.
Please be my Santa!
Because I have so much work to do for the first 5 months of next year, I just want to rock wigs so I can take them off whenever I need to COOL OFF. And this wig from @d_ineffablestore caught my eyes and stole my heart.
I’ve had my eyes on gafasandals ever since I found them out. Their designs are so sleek and catchy and better still? They look so comfy. They are a Nigerian brand based in Abuja and since I’m in Abuja this season, why not show me some love?
I’ve always wanted a camera but this year, I decided which one in particular I want. It’s the Nikon D500. I feel like until I get a camera, learning photography won’t be as effective as I want. It’s the top on my list!
PS: You can buy me a cheaper camera. Doesn’t have to be this one. I’d just really live this one. But who am I to be choosing right?
See, since I almost never do heels, i’m all about getting my hands on very nice flats to make up for the no heels business. sfdbyziza is also Nigerian based owned by Muyiwa Folami of yourclosetgirl.com. I even recently contacted them for enquires but this economy is not for such. Check out their price list here
Daniel Wellington! His watches are so unique. I tried to get myself a Rolex that looks like it but it’s still not Daniel Wellington.
Yaa Gyasi. I don’t need a reason to want a book. Infact I want books not just a book. (I should make a “Books I want for Christmas” list) lol.
What is “JAND” about?
JAND is a comic about Nigerian university students living in JAND (United Kingdom)
The characters are easily likeable! My favorite is Mofé. We’re on Chapter 22 Now but I’ve only read up to Chapter 15.
To Educate people who aren’t familiar with Nigerian slang: What does “JAND” stand for?
Just Another Nigerian Drama. “JAND”
The word “Jand” is a Nigerian pidgin English slang which means “England”.
CAUTION: JAND is rated 16! “It contains curse words, sex, drugs and other subjects that aren’t suitable for the younger ones.”
The creator of JAND comic is my all time favourite Nigerian artist, named Modé (pronounced Moh-day). Check out her official website to see all her other works aside comics. http://www.studioofmode.com/
Modé does all the artwork in the comic except all the colouring and backgrounds which are done by the illustrator/concept artist Segun Samson. See his work here.

What’s on your wishlist??
Let me know in the comment box. I’m hosting a Christmas giveaway soon. Let me be your SANTA. 🙂
PS: if you have PS4, iPhone 7 or anything in this category (if you get the gist) on your wishlist, i’m the wrong Santa. Lol (just thought to put it out there so you’re not expecting too much)
Happy Holidays! Have a lit week!
