My joke of a writing career.

By Posted on 3 No tags 0

Lol.

Hold on, let’s take a minute to laugh again shall we?

LOL.

My writing or should I say blogging ministry is over, clearly. Duhh.

So what am I doing in your face (s)?

I’m trying to make the best use of my last 3/4 months blog subscription before it finally expires and the good people of whogohost kick me out.

Guys! Life has happened. Adulting issa scam. Argue with your father (unless he’s ‘Otedola with the money’) Lol. You get my point yes?

Anyho, I’m sure I haven’t had it bad compared to what other people have had to experience but that doesn’t matter because it’s not a competition is it?

Okay, drop the jokes. Here are brief somethings I’ve been up to in my gazillion absent days from the blog.

•I took researching about Instagram more seriously. I’ve learnt a few tricks and I’ll consider spilling them in one of my next posts if y’all ask me to.

•I took a break from my business @kayagirl; This break was needed because I was getting ahead of myself, everything was falling apart, devil was trying himself but he didn’t know what was coming. I got back with a bang!

• I did a mini tour of Kaduna; (actually my state of origin) But I’ve never had the chance to explore. Planning another one soon, (most likely to Kajuru castle (google is your friend) who wants to come with?

• Got closer to God; Let’s just say my God and I have never been G’s to this extent, you should hear the way we gist. My joy is over full.

• Not reading books; Unusual? But yeah I’ve not been reading books lately. But I’m currently reading one, I got my mojo back.

•Made new friends; My new church is full of oh so amazing people. I’ve made enough friends for a life time. It’s overwhelming considering I rarely make friends, but I have a good feeling about these ones. (Best thing NYSC brought to me)

•Saying no; I’ve been saying ‘no’ a lot more, teaching people to fit into my space and not being sorry about it. I’ve been more focused on self development because ‘this naija wey we dey, ko easy ra ra.’ I said no to someone last month for the first time in forever and my heart leaped for joy. (If you’re used to inconveniencing yourself for others, you’d know what I mean.)

•Getting my life organized; This has always been a struggle, but like everyother thing, I’m getting a hang of it.

I didn’t forget all you real MVPs that reached out concerning my absence on the blog, those of you that were shoulders when I needed to lean, because of you, I made it and I’m grateful!

To give back, I’m taking guest posts, featuring people, brands, writers, businesses etc on the blog. Do leave a comment if this might interest you.

Barka da sallah.

Thanks for staying faithful to this inconsistent one.

Haba! After so long you really won’t atleast leave a comment? 🙁

Have a great week ahead
